This is my first marine aquarium! I decided to start out small and build a 20g nano reef with Innovative Marine's Fusion 20. Slowly, but steadily I'll be making additions and improvements to this setup.

Inspiration & Goals

My goal is to maintain a 100% aquacultured & propagated ecosystem in an effort to do things as eco-friendly as possible. My live rock comes from Real Reef Rock ( and all my inhabitants are either ORA aquacultured or propagated from my friends system at Crystal Reef Aquatics (

I have just completed my open water SCUBA certification this summer and will be going back to school for Marine Biology in the spring. Putting together this tank is a way for me to do independent study and observation. I hope to pursue a career in reef conservation and underwater photography.
