This is my first salt water reef tank. My plan was to build a stable FOWLER system with dry rock and sand as the foundation, because I did not know much about hitchhikers or other pests that may come with live rock. I cycled the tank in five week using Prodbio Biodigest and Dr. Tim's one and only. I added Dr. Tim's because I was growing impatient. I added Two Cardinals and since they seemed to be doing well I added two clowns and two turbo snails.

I plan to add several Zoas, palies and a torch coral once the FOWLER becomes stable and I acquire the test kits for calcium, and magnesium.

Despite adding livestock too quickly, everything is going well, no panic moments, and I am really enjoying the hobby.
