Introduction

I've been in the hobby for about 3 years now and I've dabbled with just about everything. I've had a 10g, 29g, 55g, and now a 75g. This tank is the product of a great deal of planning and education through past experiences with my other tanks. You really do learn something everyday in this hobby, whether you've been in it for one year or 30!

Filtration

Right now I am using a Reef Octopus skimmer along with both Matrix bio-media and Purigen by Seachem.

Maintenance

I swear by Seachem and their product "Stability" is my favorite. It achieves exactly what they claim and it is what I used to cycle my tanks as well as during water changes. Water changes occur about every other week and sometimes every week depending on nutrient levels.

On average you perform a 7.8% water change every 16 days.

0% total water change in August.
