Went back to no3po4x dosing and added 7 capfulls of Dr. tims waste away. Was hacing a major cyano problem trying to keep no3 at 2 and po4 at .08 per Red sea mixed reef recipie. will watch corals for pale colors. If corals pale will adjust no3 but po4 needs to stay below .03. Will up feeding of reef energy a and b as well. 4 ml of no3po4x were dosed on July 12th with waste away no3 dropped to.
.50ppm and po4 is now at 0.01ppm won't dose no3po4x again until I see a huge rise in levels.........
H2O2 was dosed today and I believe that it dropped my NO3 and PO4 levels way down, will stop to see if they rise back up.
stopped dosing no3po4x to try and bring nitrate up to 1 to 2 ppm.
Alkalinity reagent seems to be off on red sea alkalinity pro test. Ordered Hanna alkalinity checker from Marine Depot so I can have accurate readings. I can not see alkalinity being 7.28 when I am dosing Kalk in my top off water.
Lowered Kessil ap700 to 7 inches off water to gain more par for a browning blue polyp green Monitcap. Had to add Kessil A160we tuna blues back on the sides of the AP 700 to cover the gap in lighting. Par on Montipora now reads 350 under all lights. AP 700 is at 38% intensity and AP 160's are at 60%. Measured using the Seneye reef monitor par reader.
