Introduction

This is my third marine aquarium, and the second reef aquarium in my life ...

This is a project that resumed after a few years of being away from the hobby, this project consists in a main aquarium of 0.6x0.5x0.6 m rimless 9mm glass thick, includes a sump 0.4x0.5x0.35 m on the inside of the aquarium stand.

The furniture is wood finished in chocolate color, the top part is a removable canope wood in the same finish color, in ther, i installed a lumina 5.1 LED full Espectrum, through intelligent LED driver, which during the day changes the intensity and color of the light spectrum to simulate natural light and reduce energy costs.

In the sump, it has placed a magus espumandor bubble curve 5 an a inovation marine mini reactor, two heaters hydor 100w, one uv lamp, auto top-off, sponges and ceramic filtration, and a sock of 200 microns.

Water flow is returned to the main tank by a pump 1200 lph, that at a height of 3 feet 600 lph actually delivered.

The idea is to have a great filtering system in the sump and in the main tank, medium to slow flow, allowing to have a large population of corals and up to 6 fishes.

Background

The project began with a sketch of a cabinet for a small freshwater aquarium for my kids, but I decided to modify it to reef aquarium, that would allow my children to have a pet, and I continue my great hobby.

The aquarium and the aquarium cabbinet are minimalist furniture, trying to hide the aquarium equipment as possible, and only leaving the interior of the main tank, so visible that can appreciate every living element that exists within the three sides of the aquarium.

Similarly, it is intended that all installed equipment are low energy consumption.
the goal is to have a reef aquarium in my department, allowing radiate tranquility and enhances the dining area.
