Today rescaping to create more sand space on the front side. Mainly change the right side to create depth.
Today stopped my Bubble Magus reactor wit active coal and anti-phos. Very effective but maybe too strong impact on corals and inverts.
Reason: loss of 3 tridacna's, 1 anemone and 1 small alveopor
Tubastraea feeding "training" is working, look at the photo gallery.
Some polyps of Tubastraea coccinea reacted to spot feeding yesterday. I started 2 days ago with following ritual:
- first "spray" it a few times with cyclopeeze & mysis shrimp "juice". The jui
Today I received a Tubastrea coccinea (Orange Cup Coral) and the challenge will be to feed him and keep it alive. Tubastrea coccinea is stony and normally extends it's polyps at night to feed on zoopl
NO3 < 10 ppm and salinity 1.023 sg.
