Make Eheim

A semi-dutch inspired planted tank, or that's the idea anyway. I'm injecting CO2, have medium-to-high light and are following EI guidelines such that I fertilise on alternate days with macros and micros and water change (50%) on the 7th day.

I'm following EI dosing on this tank.

My week looks like this:

Sunday: 50% Water change
Monday: Macros
Tuesday: Micros
Wednesday: Macros
Thursday: Micros
Friday: Macros
Saturday: Micros

Macros are: 2ml of a 168mg/ml solution of KNO3 & 2ml of a 42mg/ml solution of K2HPO4.
Micros are: 4mls of a 62.5mg/ml solution of an Amgrow trace mix which includes: Fe 7.5%, Mn 3.7%, Zn 0.6%, Cu 0.3%, B 0.7% and Mo 0.2%. Adding 4ml to 35L gets one just over 0.5 ppm Fe.

The tapwater here is 55mg eqiv. CaCO3/L == 3dGH, pH 7.8-8.0 and kH is ~2dKH. About 1/3 of the GH is contributed by magnesium carbondates -- so I don't dose Mg or Ca as regularly. When I do, I use a stock of 100mg/ml MgSO4.7H2O. 1ml of this contains ~10mg of Mg2+.

On average you perform a 48.6% water change every 6 days.

0% total water change in June.
