Disasters & Regrets

My last cichlid tank crashed after 5 years. I had slacked on maintenance and water changes. I lost every fish in the exact same way over the course of 5 days. I tried water changes, treating with various Seachem medications, but nothing seemed to work. Once a fish started to not eat/hide it never recovered. By the time I got a hospital tank setup it was too late. I'm not sure what disease took hold, but I'm pretty sure my slacking on water quality triggered it.
