Been a little under the weather this week and slacked off on water changes and testing. Looks like the tank is pretty well established now though because it hasn't suffered at all due to my absence.
Hydra infestation looks like it is coming under control. Lots of dead ones removed during water change.
Cycling process has finally come to a halt with only 1 casualty from the process. I can finally relax a bit and focus on getting the alk, ph, and GH all where they should be and just enjoy the fish. C
Dosed 4 tsp baking soda yesterday to raise ph and alk. Def did the trick. A little too well as alk is now a bit higher than I would like. I used the dosage that I kept seeing recommended online but cl
