Topped off 1.5gal
Returned from trip after a week- two dead snails. One baby though.
Removed hair algae. "Stirred' added sand.
Pulled 10gal of water out of tank for clean up of substrate, removal of hair algae, and addition of 20lbs sand.
Thinking of adding 3 or 5 more Turbo Snails to help with algae control. Did see two smaller snails that were original to the tank.
Need to research: best sand to add after the fact & ways to add without a dust storm.
