Now in its sixth year of existence, AquaticLog strives to be remain the best designed and most functional online and mobile service for aquarists all over the world.
Some of you may be surprised to find out that it is a one man operation and is not a full time job for its creator. Any work on the site is done in the evenings and weekends, taking away time from family and leisure. Yet it still continues and all three directions (web, iPhone and Android) are getting new features and improvements.
AquaticLog iPhone app is now at version 5.5 and looks better than ever: a large portion of the web functionality has been ported to iPhone, the interface is streamlined and beautiful. Lots of users are now participating in the beta testing. The app rating globally is at an abysmal 3.3 and that sends a message to the rest of the world and it is not a good one.
Android app has received a much needed update last year and is currently undergoing the same treatment as the iPhone. Its rating is 3.2.
It is your right as a user to feel frustrated when something does not work or when the app crashes. And when you give a Nike app a 1 star it sends a solid customer message to their headquarters. Indie development suffers greatly when judged the same.
Your annual financial support and app store ratings/reviews are what makes the app better every year. If you feel like making a difference, please go the App Store and leave a review. If you had left a negative review because something did not work, please revisit it to see if it's been fixed and email AquaticLog so that the feature can be addressed.
